Learning Ally Great Reading Games
Congratulations to all our amazing students who participated in the Great Reading Games. As of yesterday we were in 1st place in our bracket and that was the last day of the contest! We may have some student winners as well but I’m awaiting confirmation from Learning Ally before we announce those winners. Thank you to all our amazing readers! 
ELPAC Testing for English Learners
If your child is an English Learner then someone will be reaching out to you to schedule ELPAC testing for your child. We are trying to get all students tested as soon as possible. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions. 
STMS Spring Sports
Some additional information about spring sports at STMS was released this week. Please see the link HERE for days and times for practice. If you have any questions please email the STMS Athletic Director Kathleen Whatford at [email protected].

Elevated Outdoors-Middle School Grades    
We have four days upcoming in which we will be getting students together for science focused activities. These dates are optional and we’ll be asking families later this week which they can attend. The dates are as follows: April 28th, April 29th, May 3rd and May 4th. We are also planning on having some in person days the week following Spring Break to celebrate Earth Day. More information to follow soon.

Grandes Juegos de Lectura
Felicitaciones a todos nuestros increíbles estudiantes que participaron en los Grandes Juegos de Lectura. A partir de ayer estábamos en el primer lugar de nuestro grupo y ese fue el último día del concurso! Puede que también tengamos algunos ganadores estudiantiles, pero estoy esperando la confirmación de Learning Ally antes de anunciar a esos ganadores. Gracias a todos nuestros increíbles lectores!
Pruebas ELPAC para Estudiantes de Inglés 
Pruebas de suficiencia en inglés para California (ELPAC, por sus siglas en inglés)
Si su hijo es un estudiante de inglés, entonces alguien se pondrá en contacto con usted para programar las pruebas ELPAC para su hijo. Estamos tratando de hacer que todos los estudiantes se hagan la prueba lo antes posible. Por favor, envíe un correo electrónico [email protected] si tiene alguna pregunta.
Deportes de primavera STMS

Actividades al aire libre - Grados de escuela Intermedia
Tenemos cuatro días próximos en los que estaremos juntando a los estudiantes para actividades centradas en la ciencia. Estas fechas son opcionales y esta semana preguntaremos a las familias a qué fecha pueden asistir. Las fechas son las siguientes: 28 de abril, 29 de abril, 3 de mayo y 4 de mayo. También estamos planeando tener algunos días en persona la semana después de las vacaciones de primavera para celebrar el Día de la Tierra. Más información a seguir pronto.
