Welcome to Lake Tahoe Unified School District's online learning program, Elevated Digital Learning Academy. We are excited about this program and look forward to working with the community as we embark on a new journey through the groves of academe. With the Elevated Digital Academy, we strive to provide a high quality education with the expectation that all children will succeed. One of the ways we accomplish this expectation is by providing additional curriculum options for personalized learning opportunities. We strive to provide students with a flexible, engaging, and innovative student-centered learning experience. The content is organized online to allow students to learn anytime and receive virtual and face-to-face instructional support from a highly qualified LTUSD teacher
By enrolling in the Elevated Digital LearningAcademy program, your child has the opportunity to receive monitoring and assistance (in person when necessary) by highly qualified teachers as well as individual attention and tutoring on a regular basis. We are proud to offer an online curriculum that is aligned with the Common Core State Standards. We work to provide a rigorous curriculum including English, Math, Science, Social Studies, as well as a number of elective courses. Our highly qualified staff is committed to offering all students the best educational experiences possible. We ask for the support of parents and families, which is the key to the success of students and the program. Students enrolled in Elevated Digital Academy will receive live instruction from dedicated LTUSD teachers, using LTUSD curriculum. Elevated Digital Academy will operate five full days per week and will be open to Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Students will learn from home on a digital learning platform, using a District-issued device, with continuous access to their LTUSD Digital Academy resources, enrichment activities, and events. Like all LTUSD schools, the Digital Academy will offer social-emotional support, accommodations and support services for unique student needs.
